Liberty Backhoes

Liberty Backhoes is a Phoenix based manufacturer of Backhoes and Wood Chippers. They use a different distribution model than all of the other major tractor manufacturers; Liberty doesn’t use dealers. They only ship straight to the customer. While this prevents them from offering onsite warranty support and technical service, it does allow them to offer a product at about 50% of the price. The Liberty Backhoe sells for between $3000-4000, depending on the model. They sell 6′, 7′, and 8′ backhoes. The 6′ Backhoe is $3199, and the 8′ Backhoe is $3899. Their backhoe attachments do not come with a PTO pump, so you will need to get a pump or connect the backhoe to your tractor’s hydraulics. We recommend using a pump, but if you want to have some fun, connect your tractors hydraulics.

Anyway, the Liberty Backhoe runs on John Deere, Massey Ferguson, Ford/New Holland, Jinma, Kubota, and just about any other tractor you can think of. They did a great job of producing a dynamic, compatible backhoe at a very affordable price. All tractor can work on them, so if you need service and you can’t do it yourself, you can get it fixed.

The backhoes offer about 3000 pounds of digging force and buckets are available between 8″ to 20″.
